The staking token is POOLS, as it is a native token on Pools Chain, i.e. token bond and delegation actions and records for Pools Chain, happens on Pools Chain.

The Pools validator set is determined by its staking and delegation logic, via a staking module built on the Pools chain, and propagated every day UTC 00:00 on the Pools chain.

The reward distribution happens on the Pools Chain around every day UTC 00:00.
